What is pellet fuel?
Pellet fuel is defined as ”short cylindrical piece intended for heating”. (Source: SS 18 71 06)
Rindi produces pellet fuel in two own manufacturing facilities, which also delivers district heating both to private homes and industries in the area in and around Vansbro and Älvdalen, Dalarna. The plant in Vansbro is environmentally certified according to ISO14001 and qualitatively certified to ISO9001.
Rindi pellet fuel is a product completely without additives, made from spruce and pine sawdust from nearby sawmills. The composition, storage time and drying of the pellet fuel can cause colour variations. This will not affect the pellet characteristics as a fuel.
Pellet heating is ”climate neutral” which means that during the heating of pellets no more carbon dioxide (CO2) is released than what the tree consumes during growth.

Humidity ≤ 9 %
Ash content ≤ 0.4%
Density ≥ 670 kg m3
Energy content ≥ 4.8 kWh/ kg
Solidity ≥ 97.5 % according to CEN/TS 15210-1:2005
Pellet are supplied:
Pallet with 52 bags, 16 kg per bag, or alternatively in a single large bag of 700 kg. To large quantity users, such as boiler rooms or heating plants, we also deliver in bulk.
